Artist Results, LLC (the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates ArtistResults.com and the associated mobile/web applications (collectively, the “Service” or “Platform”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information when you access or use the Service.

A. Information You Provide Directly

- Uploaded Content: Music WAV files, video files, images, metadata (e.g., song titles, lyrics, credits, ISRC/UPC codes), contact lists for CRM (names, emails, phone numbers, notes, interaction history).
- CRM and Email Features: Email content you create, subject lines, recipient lists, and any attachments.
- Social Media: Credentials or authorization tokens for connected accounts (we do not store full passwords; we use OAuth where available).
- EPK Creation: Any additional details you input for your Electronic Press Kit (e.g., press quotes, links).
- Communications: Support tickets, feedback, or other messages you send us.
- Payment Information: We do not store full credit card details; payments are processed securely by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe).
B. Automatically Collected Information
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, pages visited, time spent, referral sources, and interactions with features.
- Cookies and similar technologies: For authentication, preferences, analytics, and functionality (see our Cookie Policy section below or separate notice).
- Logs: Access times, features used (e.g., uploads, email sends, post schedules).
C. Information from Third Parties
- Social media platforms (when you connect accounts): Basic profile info, access tokens.
- Analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics): Aggregated usage statistics.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service (e.g., store and organize your Content, generate EPKs, send CRM emails, schedule social posts).
- Process subscriptions, payments, and account management.
- Communicate with you (e.g., service updates, support responses, promotional emails if you opt in).
- Analyze usage to enhance features and user experience.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms.
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, or protect rights/safety.
For CRM emails: You (the Artist) are the data controller for recipient personal data. We act as a processor/service provider, processing only on your instructions to send emails and track opens/clicks (where enabled).
3. Sharing and Disclosure of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in these limited circumstances:
- With service providers (processors): Hosting (e.g., AWS), payment processors, email delivery (e.g., SendGrid), analytics, cloud storage, and support tools—bound by strict confidentiality and data protection agreements.
- For social media posting: With the platforms you authorize (e.g., Ayrshare, Instagram, TikTok) solely to publish your scheduled posts.
- For EPK: Your selected public Content is displayed/hosted publicly via your EPK link or embedded website.
- Business transfers: In connection with mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales.
- Legal requirements: To comply with laws, respond to subpoenas, court orders, or protect rights/safety.
- With your consent: For any other purpose you explicitly approve.
4. Data Storage, Security, and Retention
- We store your Content and data in secure cloud infrastructure (primarily U.S.-based servers).
- We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit/rest where applicable, access controls, regular security audits) to protect against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is completely secure.
- We retain your account data and Content while your account is active, plus a reasonable period after termination for backup, legal, or dispute purposes. You can export your data before cancellation.
- CRM contact data: Retained as long as you maintain it in your account or as needed for email compliance (e.g., unsubscribe records).
5. International Data Transfers
If you are outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. or other countries. We use safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses where required) for transfers subject to GDPR or similar laws.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, other U.S. states):
- Access, correct, update, or delete your personal information.
